About
Daniela Doe (b. 1996) is a Portuguese designer with French and Togolese roots, based in Malmö, Sweden. After studying Fashion Design and later Communication Design, she found her voice at the intersection of graphics and textiles.
Her work explores how graphic design can become a tactile and memorable experience through handcrafts. Turning graphic concepts into hand-tufted rugs and textiles. She mixes old crafting methods with modern design to make pieces that feel both familiar and new.
Since 2021, she has run her own studio in Malmö, working across textiles, graphic design and art direction on self-initiated and commissioned projects. Clients and collaborators include Region Stockholm, KOMONO, Adidas Originals and Malmö Public Library, and her work has been featured in Wallpaper*, It’s Nice That and T Magazine México.
She has exhibited at Handarbetets Vänner Galleri in Stockholm, Southern Sweden Design Days and Center Rog in Ljubljana. Residencies at Center Rog, Atelier Mar in Mindelo, Cape Verde, and Kökar in the Åland archipelago, along with a study tour of Japan, have shaped how she thinks about design across cultures, materials and craft traditions.
