About
Daniela Doe (b. 1996) is a Portuguese designer with French and Togolese roots, currently based in Malmö, Sweden. After studying Fashion Design and later Communication Design, she found her voice at the intersection of graphics and textiles.
Her work explores how graphic design can become a tactile and memorable experience through handcrafts. Turning graphic concepts into hand-tufted rugs and textiles. She mixes old crafting methods with modern design to make pieces that feel both familiar and new.
Since 2021, Daniela has been running her design studio in Malmö, working on self-initiated and commissioned projects in textiles, graphic design, and art direction. Selected collaborations include Adidas Originals, Naked Copenhagen, and Malmö Public Library.
Her work has been showcased at Handarbetets Vänner Galleri in Stockholm, Southern Sweden Design Days, and local galleries across Malmö. As well as taken part in international residencies including the upcoming Designer in Residency at Center Rog in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Atelier Mar Research Residency in Mindelo, Cape Verde; and other study trips to Finland and Japan. Contributing to shape her perspective on design across cultures, materials, and traditional crafts.
