Daniela Doe is a Portuguese-French Multidisciplinary Graphic Designer (b.1996) based in Malmö, Sweden. She seeks new ways to blend graphic design with handcrafted textiles.
She holds a BA in Fashion Design from the Architecture University of Lisbon and a Post Graduation in Communication Design from the Fine Arts University of Lisbon.
Her artistic work translates a graphic research on textiles through various techniques such as tufting, embroidery and textile printing methods to implementing wall tapestries, sculptures, and wearables. Conceptually her work often brings an exploration of the human connection to nature, inspired by the small details and textures in the botanical world but also biological sides of human bodies.
As a multidisciplinary graphic designer, Daniela is constantly experimenting with new techniques and materials, and she is always looking for ways to push the boundaries of digital and hand crafts techniques.
