Tufting Workshop (First Time)
in Malmö
4h workshop for beginners
One participant per session
This workshop introduces Tufting for those who have never tried this handcraft. You will learn the basic techniques of tufting and bring home a rug made by yourself.
Please read carefully all the details :)
→ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: During 4h you will be able to learn all the basic steps from start to finish of tufting a rug, with breaks in between for snacks and tea. There will be designs available for you to pick or you are welcome to bring your own. It should be simple and fit a 70x50 frame.
→ 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥: The workshop price includes all the materials needed (Yarns, tufting cloth, latex, glue, and tufting tools). A projector and paper patterns are available to help in sketching your design. Finally, the frame and tufting gun are provided by the studio. Everything will be available for you, so you can focus on learning this handcraft.
→ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬: Choose one of the dates available, select and add it to the cart. Insert your details and pay. You'll get a confirmation in your email and more information about the workshop day.

︎Do I need to bring anything for the workshop?
No, all the materials and tools will be provided for you to use during the workshop.
︎Can I bring the rug at the end of the workshop?
Yes! That’s the main goal of the workshop. You will create a rug that you can take home with you.
︎Can I bring a sketch idea for my rug? Absolutely! Your ideas are very welcome. Before starting the workshop, we will sit down to review your ideas, and I will assist you in bringing them to life. Your design should be simple and fit within a 70x50 frame.

However, I have made exceptions for two people working together on one rug. If you want to share the experience with a loved one, this can be arranged :) Just write a note when you are booking or send me an email to hello@danieladoe.com
